We all live busy lives. Many of us have families to spend time with, children to take care of, everyday compromises or even endless workdays that seems to last forever. However, many of us forget that taking time to think and reflect about things is a fundamental need to your own mind.

It would seem obvious to say we all need time to breath. But do we allow ourselves to do so? Do we bother to give our mind and body a break from everyday life?

Without going to an extreme view of needing to stop everything, quit everything and go to the  Himalayas mountains to give your mind and body a break and rethink the meaning of our life’s (OK, that does sound quite nice). Taking a break is far much easier than that, and much less expensive.

It’s all about allowing yourself to do that. Maybe this could be 5 minutes under the shower or 30 minutes on your way to work. The thing is, relax, let your mind flow. You might be surprise to find out you have so many thoughts fighting their way to be heard.

We live in a world full of information. That is great, don’t get me wrong. We have fantastic technologies and we are literally connected throughout the world. But with so much informataion around, we absorb so much from what comes from all around us. Do we ever hear our own?

Fair enough, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but that is just a little.

If we would give time to our hearts and minds to speak we might have more insights and, as a consequence, we might bring better ideas to this world.

So here we go, I invite you to take 10 minutes of your day today to just Chill!
