Why setting up a new PC can be so painful?

One would imagine that setting up a new PC would be a simple procedure…. Connect the cables, install the softwares needed, configurate whatever security needs configutaring, connect your internet and you are ready to go.

I would have loved to see this happening today, but unfortunately not… 2 hours of my and some of my work colleagues lost for trying to ‘understand’ why the monitor did not like the new PC tower….

I had to keep pestering my knowledgeble IT colegues to get my machine working….

As we can’t waste all day trying to read a computers ‘mind’ and we need to get some actual work don, I had to switch to an old monitor as my brand new 23″ monitor simply did not like the new PC configuration. For whatever reason which is still unknown!
